This festival is dedicated to beloved God Vishnu, who is the lord for wealth and also known as ‘Anant’, as per the Hindu Mythology.  His blessings ensure good health and wealth to the devotees if they have complete faith to get success in life. Moreover, AnantChaturdashi has a big significance not only for Hindu, but also for Jain Community as Jain followers start their Dashlakshan fest on this day.

Well, I just want to get focus on the fact that every festival has a story behind it. Thus, AnantChaturdashiis also linked with the story of a poor woman Sushila. This festival came into existence when she and her husband Kaundinya were facing trouble times. Besides, on this auspicious day, people do some spiritual practices like they worship ShriGanesh's idol or picture in order to receive 100% benefit in terms of divine energy anddivine consciousness. Additionally, all the devotees of lordGanesha and Vishnu come together and sing manydevotional songswith the help of traditional instruments and chant Sree Ganesh’s name (‘Om GanGanapatayenamaha’) to createsome unforgettable moments. Along with this, they welcome to the Lord Ganeshain the next year by chanting the slogan, GanpatiBappaMorya, AgleBarasTuJaldiAa.
In order to enjoy this occasion, devotees come from different parts of the world and get theblessings of lord Ganesha and Vishnu.  They respect the idol of Ganeshaby offering some flowers, milk and pure coconut. In addition to this, on the advantageous carnival of AnantChaturdashi, women ties a traditional thread on her left arm as well as man do the same on the right hand for the purpose of obtaining great fortune in the life.
